Skater Skirt | "Echoes of Light" carries Echoes of Light, an original heavily textured abstract painting from Ceren McKay’s Urban Dreams Collection. Vivid colour cuts through a deep city-dark background like lights, movement, and reflections after nightfall, holding the instant when an ordinary street suddenly feels electric.
The flare allows the illuminated marks to shift as the skirt moves instead of remaining fixed like a framed image. It can be matched with an Echoes of Light top, another painting, or an everyday shirt and jacket chosen by the wearer.
Its smooth waistband leaves the painting uninterrupted around the top edge of the skirt.
The design comes from an original painting rather than a stock pattern, creating a direct line between the finished product, the artist’s studio, and the memory held in the canvas. It is made only after an order is placed, avoiding finished stock that may never be used.
