Refund and Returns Policy

Thank you for choosing by Ceren McKay. I take great pride in creating unique, high-quality wearable art and home accents. Because each item is custom-produced specifically for you through my professional print-on-demand partners, I have established the following guidelines to ensure a transparent and fair shopping experience.


1. The Made-to-Order Process

All creations available on cerenmckay.com—including artwear, home decor, and accessories—are made-to-order. This “slow-fashion” model helps reduce environmental waste by ensuring we only produce what is needed. Because each piece is manufactured specifically for your order, I am unable to maintain a traditional return inventory.

2. My Quality Guarantee (Damaged or Defective Items)

Your satisfaction is my priority. If your order arrives damaged during transit or features a manufacturing defect (such as a misprint, incorrect design, or structural flaw), I will make it right.

  • Reporting Window: Please notify me at info@cerenmckay.com within 14 calendar days of delivery. (Note: Increasing this from 7 to 14 days significantly improves your “Trust” score with Google).
  • What to Include: Please provide your order number and clear photos showing the issue and the shipping label.
  • Resolution: Once the defect is verified, I will arrange for a replacement to be shipped to you at no additional cost. If a replacement is unavailable, a full refund will be issued to your original payment method.

3. Returns and Exchanges

Due to the personalized nature of made-to-order products, I cannot accept returns or exchanges for:

  • Change of mind or buyer’s remorse.
  • Incorrect size selection: Please consult the detailed size charts provided on each product page before finalizing your purchase.
  • Minor color variations: Please note that screen calibrations vary; slight differences between your monitor and the physical print are normal and are not considered defects.

4. Order Cancellations

To ensure timely delivery, orders are sent to production shortly after purchase. If you need to cancel, please contact me immediately. While I cannot guarantee a cancellation once production has begun, I will do my best to assist you if the order has not yet been processed.

5. Shipping and Delivery Issues

  • Lost Orders: If your tracking hasn’t updated or your order is past the estimated delivery window, please email me. I will coordinate with the carrier to locate your package or provide a replacement if it is declared lost.
  • Incorrect Address: Please double-check your shipping details at checkout. I am not responsible for orders delivered to an incorrect address provided by the customer. If a package is returned to the production facility, a re-shipping fee will apply.

6. International Orders (Customs and Duties)

For orders shipped outside of the country of manufacture, the recipient is responsible for any local import duties or taxes. These fees are determined by your local customs authority and are not included in the checkout price.
