A large blanket allows the painting's skyline, horizon, sea, and reflections to unfold beyond the wall.

Abstract Throw Blanket | "Shadows of the Coast" carries Shadows of the Coast, an original textured acrylic painting from Ceren McKay’s Urban Dreams Collection, rooted in memories of growing up beside the Mediterranean. A distant coastal city rises in crimson, orange, and sunlit yellow above deep teal, turquoise, and blue water. A sharp horizontal break separates the bright architecture from long dark reflections, capturing how a childhood home can feel through time and distance. Palette-knife texture holds both the vivid place that remains in memory and the shadows created by looking back from far away.

Use the smallest size as a personal lap blanket, the middle size as a sofa throw, or the largest across a bed or broad chair. The velveteen face offers a soft medium-heavy feel, while polyester retains its shape and dries quickly after washing. The painting can lead the room's colour or connect with other art-based cushions and solid textiles already in the space.

This blanket enlarges palette-knife marks from Ceren McKay's own memory of the Mediterranean, giving warmth a direct connection to a lived place instead of covering it with a generic ocean print.
